Ultrasound Workshop at Western Regional Emergency Medicine Symposium: USIG coordinated the ultrasound workshop at this annual conference hosted by the Emergency Medicine Interest Group on September 20, 2014 at UCI. Click here for more information on WREMS.

RUSH  Exam Ultrasound Workshop with UCSD EMIG: In Winter 2014, UCI USIG students, along with UC San Diego’s Emergency Medicine Interest group, coordinated and taught an afternoon hands-on workshop on the Rapid Ultrasound in Shock and Hypotension Exam at UCSD. Over 30 UCSD students attended this workshop and left with practical ultrasound skills and concepts to apply to patients in shock. UCI USIG students are always happy to teach, and we love the opportunities to spread our appreciation of ultrasound to other institutions.
